I know it may have seemed quiet on your end of starting Daisies, but Becky and I have been busy getting ready for you all! We have attended our first leader meeting, and we took the required training early! So we are about ready to get this troop started! For those of you who are curious, our official troop number is 26400. So now I feel official!!! :0)
We have made some adjustments to our schedule. This is what appears to be happening:
Monday, October 3rd, 4:30-5:30: We will meet at Brittany Bay Park, located off Fennigan Street. This will be a "Meet and Greet" meeting for the parents and the Daisies to get acquainted with each other. The moms will have some business to take care of. We will need to discuss the year with you, so it is important that you be there if at all possible. We will also need you to fill out the attached permission slip and medical form and bring it to the meeting. It is important that we receive these 2 forms (permission slip and medical form) before we begin to participate in any Daisy activities.
Sunday, October 9th, 2:00-5:00: Scoutdoor Adventure at Camp Windamere. I know a few of you have already turned in the form to do this, but not everyone. We would love to take our Daisies on a tour of Camp Windamere! For more information, please visithttp://bayareagirlscouts.
Monday, October 24th, 4:30-5:30: Regular Daisy meeting at Mrs. Becky's House! Details to come soon!
We will meet every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. This schedule is much better since it avoids more holidays and no-school days. Please mark your calendars!
